meerk is a collaborative hypertext dictionary.a thread can be created on any title related to the active categories in the dictionary. the content of the entries under these topics can be objective or subjective. collaborative hypertext dictionary sites can be considered as an informal source of information.

entry writing rules

  1. Use of cf: It is used to reference another title within or at the end of the entry. For example: (cf. game). This reference points to the “game” title.
  2. Use of hcf: Used to refer to another title within an entry. It is not preceded by an abbreviation like cf. For example: game. This reference points to the title “game”.
  3. Use of cf: Used to reference another title within or at the end of an entry. A star is added at the end of the word. It is passed as smart cf. For example: (*). This reference points to the title “game”.
  4. for text containing spoilers, please use the “spoiler” tag.
  5. use the “entry” tag to redirect to any entry.
  6. if you have made changes to the entry, please indicate what you have changed at the end of the entry. For example:“edit: corrected typo”

tone indicators

  1. When writing entries, it is recommended to use tone indicators to indicate reactions (e.g. joking, irony, serious, etc.). click for more information.

language and code of conduct

  1. Please use tolerant and respectful language. Entries containing harassment, hate speech or discriminatory remarks are not accepted.
  2. Pay attention to language and spelling rules in entries. Use understandable and proper English.

content management

  1. Make informative and contributory entries about games, esports and internet culture.
  2. Spam, advertising or non-content entries are not allowed.
  3. Make sure that content is not subject to copyright. Cite the source when quoting.

community collaboration

  1. Encourage community involvement and help other members.
  2. Respect the principles of responsibility and accountability.

  1. Follow administrator instructions and follow guidelines.
  2. Make sure rules and policies are up to date and be informed about changes.

  2. Accounts that attempt to commit fraud or mislead community members will be closed immediately.

  1. Do not post entries that contain malware, viruses or harmful links.
  2. To ensure the safety of the community, do not share information about hacking or cyber attacks.
