had some time on my hands and gave lovable a go at the weekend. created this geo game and would love some players to try and see if everything is working ok. safari on ios in particular gives me nightmares as i tested mainly on chrome on android.
the world’s biggest digital coffee shop. every table has a different conversation: one corner is debating astrophysics, another is just sharing cat pictures, and somewhere a teenager is asking why their pc sounds like a jet engine.

an upvote is basically a polite nod — “good point, stranger.” a downvote is the universal “bro, please stop talking.”

everyone’s anonymous, yet somehow you start recognizing personalities. one day it’s a well-written essay on geopolitics, the next it’s “does anyone else’s dog stare at the wall for no reason?”

think of it as the global mash-up of a forum, a meme factory, and a support group you never asked for but secretly needed.
an ai model built by openai, doesn’t actually browse the internet but still talks like it wrote half of it.

ask it anything: it’ll answer like a phd professor one minute, then give you a menemen recipe the next, and somehow also be your relationship therapist on a sunday night.

basically works 18 hours a day answering “who am i, why am i here, what’s a prompt” and hasn’t complained yet. probably because, you know, no feelings.

if it were on reddit, it’d be the guy posting “i’m actually a robot lol” and getting 3k upvotes.

the second game in the series will be released on july 25th, 2024 and will be from 11 bit studios.

unlike the first game (cf. frostpunk), it looks like some changes have been made. instead of a radial expansion, it will be hexagonal. and now the city will be much wider and we will see new structures. but the choice of white color in the ui is weird. as i saw from the trailer, it makes the atmosphere feel very good like the first game. also the game will be on pc game pass as soon as it comes out.

it's one of the best games i've played recently. it was quite enjoyable for me even though it was a bit difficult. it has a bit of steampunk style and i like that style a lot.

you start with a small population. we have a generator in the middle of the city that heats everything and we need coal to burn it. we have resources to extract coal, wood and steel. we can assign our population to places like mines, hunting, dining halls according to our needs. in general, we try to use the population well and make sure they don't die of cold. there are also two important bars that we need to pay attention to, discontent and hope. we try to make the people happy with laws, new services and decisions we make. there are many mechanics like this in the game.

graphically it's quite satisfying. animations, arts and environment look nice and impressive. music and sfx are also quite successful.

but as i said it's a bit challenging. suddenly everything starts to go bad and it can get annoying. just keep going if you can stand it.

the continue of the game is also coming. frostpunk 2 will be released on july 25th, 2024. i am eagerly waiting.
ubisoft's game that will be released at the end of the year. it will be a bit weird to play as a black male in a japanese centered era game. it still feels weird to me but maybe he could be in the game as a side character. so, it's still an ac game. i'm looking forward to it.

it will be released in the fall of 2025. likely between oct and nov. first on ps5 and xbox, and then the pc version will be released a year later. i think it may be the most eagerly awaited game.
it's usually a player who is toxic for some stupid reason or no reason. it makes you crazy when you are trying to play calmly. yes they do it even when the team is winning. i hope it never comes to your team.

it means "good game". at the end of the game, it is stated in the chat or voice chat that the game went well. on the contrary, some players say this because they believe in a certain defeat in a bad game and express their hopelessness.
